The Horror Is Real In Sorrow

Sorrow is ready to make your skin crawl with a terrifying and thrilling plot. You could say it is the “complete package.” It is a creepy thriller that begins with merciless torture, horrible killers and an enthralling plot twist. When a young woman is trapped and tortured by heartless human beings, but her escape is only the beginning. When hardened criminals underestimate an innocent woman, there is hell to pay. How will she enact revenge? Will she opt for “an eye for eye” or keep living silently after suffering unspeakable terror?

This film was created under FilmsVerité Productions, and it is screenwriter and producer Millie Loredo’s directorial debut. Loredo said this movie is based on a horrible nightmare she awoke from suddenly one morning. She grabbed a pen and paper to write her dream down and created a 15-minute short film in the outskirts of Utah.

The film stars Vannessa Vasquez as victim Mila Sweeney, Eric Martinez as serial killer Dale Rogers, Melissa Mars as Detective Salinas, Andrew Sensenig as Chief of Police, Donny Boaz as Detective Farrell and Mary Etuk as serial killer Hersey Igor. This is the Mary’s feature film acting debut, and Loredo praises her skillful acting.

Every character in this indie horror film was created with their own motives and back stories, drawing viewers into a world of desperation and terror. The film premieres in Houston, Texas at River Oaks Theatre and on Amazon Prime Tuesday, April 21. It will also begin streaming on Hulu mid-May.
